u = 36 km per hour = 10 m per second

v = 0 as driver apply brakes

t = 5 seconds

a = v - u divided by t

so a = -2 m per second (-due to retardation)

s =ut + half a(t)^2

s = 50 + (-25)

s = 25 metres

couchpotato: the time is wrong plus it's asking how much force was applied
