Answer:

Distance covered in 2.4 liters of petrol = 43.2 km. Therefore applying unitary method we get, Distance travelled in 1 liter of petrol = 43.2/2.4 = 18 km.

Answer:

99 KM

Step-by-step explanation:

A vehicle needs 2.4 L to cover = 43.2 km

Therefore, in 1 L vehicle covers = 43.2 km / 2.4 L

hence, in 5.5 L vehicle can cover  = ( 43.2 km / 2.4 L ) x 5.5  L

                                                      = 99 KM
