Vehicle cover distance in 2.4 litres of petrol = 43.2 km

Vehicle cover distance in 1 litre of petrol =
43.2/2.4
= 432/24 ( Decimals cancelled)
 \frac{432}{24} = 18
The vehicle will cover 18 km of distance in 1 litre of petrol.
