A vehicle enters a circular bend of radius 200m at 72km/hr . The road surface of the bend is banked at 10degree. Is it safe? At what angle should the road surface be ideal banked for safe driving at this speed? If the road is 5m wide what should be the elevation of the outer edge of road surface above the inner edge.

Answer:

yes it's safe

Explanation:

before I present my working ...that speed when converted to ms per second it becomes 20ms ...a condition is given that for the vehicle go round the bend it should not exceed critical speed which might make the care to get out of the lane ....if that speed is exceeded
