Solution:

  • v = ωr

r = diameter/2 = 4.2/2m = 2.1m

v = 2.4

⇒ v = ωr

⇒ 2.4 = ω(2.1)

⇒ ω = 2.4/2.1

⇒ ω = 24/21

⇒ ω = 8/7

Angular displacement = 4 cycles × 2π = 8π

→ Time = Angular displacement/ω

→ t = 8π/(8/7) = 8π*7/8 = 22/7*7 = 22s

Final Answer→ t = 22s
