Answer:

Here's your answer ,

Solution :-

Given that ,

Initial Velocity = 25m/s

Acceleration = -3.75m/s^2

Final velocity will be 0 m/s

Now , by applying third law of motion ,

=

 {v}^{2}  =  {u}^{2}  + 2as

 {0}^{2}  =  {(25)}^{2}  + 2( - 3.75)s

7.5s = 625

s =  \frac{625}{7.5}

s = 8.3

So , the vehicle will not collide with obstacle.

Now , we will calculate the time taken

Applying first law of motion ,

v= u+ at

0 = 25 + (-3.75)t

-3.75t = 25

t =  \frac{25}{3.75}

t = 6.67

So , the maximum reaction time will be 6.67 seconds !

Hope it helps you :)
