Answer:

force is mass into accelaration

mass 1000 kg

accelaration is v-u /t

v is 0 (because of applied brakes)

u is 108 km /h that is 30m/s

t is 4s

accelaration is 0-30/4 is -7.5 m/s²

then force will be 1000×-7.5

the force will be -7500N

Answer:-

Given:

mass of the vehicle (m) = 1000 kg

Initial Velocity (u) = 108 km/h = 108 * 5/18 = 30 m/s.

Final velocity (v) = 0 m/s [ breaks are applied ].

Time taken to stop (t) = 4 s.

We know that,

Force (F) = m * a

And,

acceleration (a) = (v - u) / t

Hence,

→ F = 1000 * (0 - 30) / 4

→ F = 1000 * ( - 30) / 4

→ F = - 7500 N

Therefore, the force applied by the breaks on the vehicle is 7500 N.
