Answer:

v = u + at

v= 60 + 5(10)

v = 60+50

v = 110 ms-1

Given

  • Initial velocity (u) = 60m/s
  • Acceleration (a) = 5m/s²
  • Time taken (t) = 10s

Find out

  • Speed after 10second

Solution

According to first equation of motion

➾ v = u + at

➾ v = 60 + 5 × 10

➾ v = 60 + 50

➾ v = 110m/s

Hence,

  • Speed after 10s is 110m/s

Additional Information

  • s = ut + ½ at² [2nd equation of motion]

  • v² = u² + 2as [3rd equation of motion]
