Initial Velocity  = 5 m/s

Final Velocity = 0 m/s

Time = 1/10  sec

Using V = U + at

=> 0 = 5 + a(1/10)

=> a = -50 m/s²

Force Required in opposite direction = -ma

= -10 *(-50)

= 500 N

required force in opposite direction is ​ = 500 N
