》 A vehicle starts from rest means it's starting velocity i.e. Initial velocity is zero.

• Initial velocity (u) = 0 km/hr

(As she starts from rest)

Later, the vehicle attains the velocity of 36 km/hr.

• Final velocity (v) = 36 km/hr.

=> 36 × 5/18

=> 10 m/s

• Time (t) = 10 × 60

=> 600 sec

We know that..

\star \: { \bold{\boxed{v \:  =  \: u +  \: at}}}

(Newton's first equation of Motion)

Put them in above formula to find the value of acceleration (a).

=> 10 = 0 + a(600)

=> 10 = 600a

=> 600a = 10

=> a = 1/60

=> a = 0.0167 m/s²

=> a = 0.017 m/s² (approx.)

0.017 m/s² is the acceleration.

Answer :

The acceleration is 0.017 m/s².

Explanation :

Given that :

Velocity = 36km/h = 36 × \dfrac{5}{18} = 10 m/s.

Time (t)  =  10 × 60   = 600 sec.

To Find :

The acceleration.

Solution :

Now, We have :

Velocity 10 m/s.

Time (t)  = 600 sec.

The value of acceleration as 'a'

We know that :

Equation of Motion :

\bigstar\;\boxed{\sf v \: =\: u +\: at}}

Values in Equation :

\sf\\ \\\implies 10 = 0 + a(600)\\ \\\implies  10 = 600a\\ \\\implies 600a = 10\\ \\\implies a = \dfrac{1}{60}\\ \\\implies a = 0.0167 m/s^2\\ \\\implies a = 0.017 m/s^2\\ \\ \\\bigstar \bf{The\;acceleration\;is\;0.017m/s^2.}
