6 hrs will be taken.

Step-by-step explanation:

Case 1

Total time taken = 4 hrs.

Speed of the vehicle = 54 km/h

we know,

Distance = speed × time

= 54km/h × 4 h

= 216 km.

Case 2

Distance = Distance of the first case = 216 km

Speed of the vehicle = 10 m/s

Since, the speed is given in m/s therefore, we have to convert the speed in Km/h .

Therefore, Speed in km/h = 10×18/5 = 36 km/h

Time taken = Distance/speed

= 216 km ÷ 36 km/h

= 6 h

GIVEN :-

  • A vehicle takes 4 hours to complete a journey at a speed of 54 km/h.
  • An another vehicle complete the same journey with the speed of of 10 m/s.

TO FIND :-

  • Time taken by the another vehicle =?

SOLUTION :-

For First vehicle.

Time = 4 hours.

Speed = 54 km/h

Distance = Speed × Time

= 54 km/h × 4 hour

= 216 km

So Distance covered by first vehicle is 216 km.

For Second vehicle.

• Speed = 10 m/s

= 10 × (3600/1000)

= 36 km/h

• Distance = 216 km

Time = Distance/speed

= (216 /36) h

= 6 hours

Hence time taken by another vehicle to complete the same distance is 6 hours.
