A vendor bought 100 gram of garlic for ₹20 from a wholesaler. He then sold it at a gain of 10%. find the S.P. of 10 gram of garlic for the vendor.

Here is your answer

Given:-
100g of garlic = 20 RS
10% =SP
10g =?
100/20 = 5g is 1 RS
10 g is 2 RS
10/100 * 2 = 20/100 = 0.2 RS
So the SP of 10g of garlic is 0.2RS

C.P. of 100 g garlic = ₹20

Gain % = 10%

S.P. = (100 + Gain %)/100 * C.P.

= 100 + 10 / 100 * 20

= ₹ 22

S.P. of 10 g garlic = 22/10
= ₹2.2
