Answer:

CASE 1 :

A vendor a dozen lemons for Rs. 25.

Then 1 lemon = 25 ÷ 12 = 2.08

CP of 1 lemon = Rs. 2.08

CASE 2:

He sells the 5 lemons for Rs. 12

Then 1 lemon =12 ÷ 5 = 2.4

SP of 1 lemon = Rs. 2.4

Profit = SP - CP

= Rs. 2.4 - Rs. 2.08 = Rs. 0.32

Profit percentage = 0.32 ÷ 2.08 × 100 = 15.3%.
