Cost Price: 40/12 = 3.33 rupees/banana

Selling Price: 36/10 = 3.6 rupees/banana

Therefore it is 43.2 for 12 bananas

Profit= Selling Price- Cost Price

=43.2-40 = 3.2

Therefore 

Profit % = 3.2/40*100 

= 8% profit
