Answer:

CP of 480 bananas = Rs 250

For a profit of 20%, SP = Rs 250 × (120/100) = Rs 300

Hence, for a profit of 20% on 480 bananas, the SP must be Rs 300.

But 30 bananas are rotten, then 450 bananas are left.

Now, he should sell 450 bananas for Rs 300 to yield the req. profit.

Since, SP of 450 bananas = Rs 300

Therefore, SP of 1 banana = Rs 300/450 = Rs 2/3

Therefore, SP of 12 bananas = Rs (2/3) × 12 = Rs 8

Hence, the req. rate for a dozen is Rs 8 per dozen

Answer:

re 8

Step-by-step explanation:

40 dozen bananas=480 bananas

30 bananas rotten=480-30=450

c.p of 40 dozen bananas=re 250

to make 20% s.p of 450 bananas

250×20/100=re 50

s.p= c.p +gain= re 250+re 50= re300.

so,300/450×12=8 bananas
