Given, CP of 100 lemons = 120

CP of 1 lemon = 120/100

and CP of 720 lemons = 120/100 * 720 = 864

10% of lemons were rotten

therefore 10% of 720 = 10/100 * 720 = 72 lemons

SP of 100 rotten lemons = 50

SP of 1 one rotten lemon = 50/100

SP of 72 rotten lemons = 50/100 * 72 = 36

Sp of 100 good lemons = 125

SP of 1 good lemon = 125/100

And SP of (720 - 72) good lemons = 125/100 * (720-72) = 125/100 * 648 = 810

total SP of 720 lemons = 36 + 810 = 846

So, SP<CP

therefore vender will be loss.
