Answer:

ANSWER

Cost Price 1240=3.33 rupees/banana

Selling Price 1036=3.6 rupees/banana

Therefore,

It is 43.2 for 12 bananas

Profit=SellingPrice−CostPrice

=43.2−40=3.2

Therefore,

Profit %=403.2×100

=8% profit

Hence, this is the answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

1 dozen =12pieces

cost of 12 pieces = 40

cost of 1 piece=40/12

sp of 10 pieces=36

sp of 1 piece=36/10

here, sp>cp

then profit

profit=sp-cp

profit=36/10-40/12

profit=16/60

profit%=profit/cp×100

profit%=16/60÷12/40×100

profit%=8%
