Step-by-step explanation:

C.P. of bananas = Rs. 250 Gain required = 20%

∴ S.P. of bananas = 100250×120=Rs.300

Number of good bananas =(40×12−30)=450

∴ S.P. of 450 bananas = Rs. 300

⇒ S.P. of 12 bananas = Rs.450300×12=Rs.8

∴ The remaining bananas should be sold at Rs.8 per dozen to make a profit of 20%
