Answer:

Out of 100 on Day 1 sold 30 threw 40

So remained 30

On Day 2 sold 50% i.e; 15 and threw 50% i.e; 15

So totally sold=30+15=45

threw = 40+15=55

Thus he threw 55% of total fruits.

Answer:

sold 30%

Balance = 70%

throws away=70x40/100 = 28%

Balance 100-(30+28) = 42%

sold 50%=42/2=21%

Balance=21% (Throws away, )

Thrown away=28+21=49% Ans
