7+[1•25×2]×5=47.50sqm so area of room is 7×5=35msq so 47.50-35=12.50msq area of varandah is 12.50m sq and cost of cementing is 12.50x15=₹187.50

PQ = 5 m

PS = 7.5 m

Area of  PQRS = 5 × 7.5

                         = 37.5 m²

AD = 7.5+ 1.25 + 1.25  = 10 m

AB = 5  + 1.25 + 1.25  = 7.5 m

Area  of  ABCD =7.5 × 10

                           = 75 m²

Hence,

Area  of Verndah = 75 - 37.5

                      = 37.5 m²

Cost  of  cementing of  1 m² = R.s. 15

Cost  of  paving  1544 m² = 37.5 × 15 = R.s. 562.5
