                          =7.5×6=45 sq.m

Length of the room including verandah=8+2.50+2.50=13m

Breadth of the room including verandah=5+2.50+2.50=10m

Hence,Area of the room including verandah=13×10=130 sq.m

∴,the area of the verandah is=(area of the room including verandah-area of the room)

=130-45 =85 sq.m
