area of room=5.5×4=22.0m^2
area of room + verandah= (5.5+2.25+2.25)×(4+2.25+2.25) = 85m^2
therefore area of verandah only = 85-22= 63

and cost of cementing the floor = 63×200=12600

avijitnath5pa9ng9: I think you have done wrong answer is 63m2,12600
Poojasamota: hmm.. sorry calculation mistake yr 95 ko jgh 85 then 85-22= 63
Poojasamota: is it correct
avijitnath5pa9ng9: and what about the 12600
DavidOtunga: "and cost of cementing the floor = 63×200=12600"

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the are of room

5.5×4=22

Now as 1 question Area of the varandah

l=5.5+2.25+2.25=10m

b=4+2.25+2.25=8.5m

Area of varandah=

8.85×10-4×5.5

=63m²

Cost of cementing the floor of varandah=

1m²=200

Total coast=63×200

=₹12600
