TO FIND :- Area of the verindah.

SOLUTION :-

➜Area of room = length × breadth.

= 8 × 5 sq.cm

• Length of room including verindah = 8+2+2= 12.

• Breadth of room including verindah = 5+2+2= 9.

☞Area of room including verindah = 12×9.

= 108sq.cm.

☞Area of room excluding verindah = 8×5

= 40 sq .m.

➜Area of verindah = 108 - 40 sqm.

= 68 sq .m .
