Answer:

║⊕ANSWER⊕║

The length of room = 5.5 m

Width of the room = 4 m

The length of room with veranda = 5.5 + 2.25 + 2.25

                                                            = 10 m

The width of room with veranda = 4 + 2.25 + 2.25

                                                          = 8.5 m

Area of veranda = Area of room with veranda – Area of room without veranda

                                 = (10 x 8.5) – (5.5 x 4)

                                 = 85 – 22

                           = 63 m²

Given that,

Area of the room is 4×5.5=22m2

Area of the verandah with room is =(5.5+1.25+1.25)×(4+1.25+1.25)

8×6.5=52

Area of verandah 52−22

=30m2

Cost of cementing =15rps

Total cost  of cementing =30×15

=450rps

Thus,

We get total cost  of cementing 450rps.
