Let the height of tower(DE) =H meter

It is given that, vertical pole (AB) =10 m long cast a shadow (BC)=  23 m long.

Shadow of tower (E F) = 99 m

As, two triangles , ΔABC and Δ DEF will be similar.

Because, ∠C=∠F→→→→Angle of elevation will be same in each case.

∠B= ∠E→→Each being 90°

ΔABC ~ ΔDEF →→(AA similarity)

As,When triangles are similar, their sides are proportional.

\frac{AB}{DE}=\frac{BC}{EF}\\\\ \frac{10}{H}=\frac{23}{99}\\\\ H=\frac{990}{23}\\\\ H=43.043

So, approximate height of tower having shadow 99 m long=43 meter
