A vertical pole,2m 80cm high, casts a shadow 1m 60cm long. Find, at the
same time,
i)the length of shadow casted by a 5m 25cm high pole.
ii)the height of the pole which casts a shadow of length 2m50cm.

Consider there is a direct proportion relation of pole height with pole shadow. So we have 2m 80cm high verticle pole that casts a shadow of 1m 60cm long . Therefore for a 10m 50cm pole we would get a shadow of 600cm or 6m length. Thus, the height of a pole which casts a shadow of 5m long is 8m 75cm.
