A vertical pole of length 3 m casts a shadow of 7 m and a tower casts a shadow of 28 m at a time. Find the

height of tower.

Length of shadow of pole =BC=4 m

Length of shadow of tower=EF=28 m

∠B=∠E=90

∴△ABC∼△DEF by AA similarity criterion
