So,
SN be it's shadow
Assume
ST = p metres
Hence,
In ∆PQR and ∆STN
∠P = ∠S = 90
Also,
∠R = ∠N
Hence,
By AA - criterion of similarity
∆PQR ~ ∆STN
p = 6 × 7
p = 42
