164 meter

6meter=4meter shadow

Xmeter=28meter shadow

After substitution,

X+4/6=28

X+4=28*6

X+4=168

X=168-4

X=164

anwe71: answer is wrong
lokesh151: maybe 26m
anwe71: Ans is 42m

The shadow is 4m and height of pole is 6m so

Base = 4m

Perpendicular = 6m

Tan = P/B = 3/2

Let height of tower be x

3/2 = x/28

x =28 × 3 ÷ 2

x =42 m

anwe71: Answer is right but it's a question of triangles not trigonometry
anwe71: and we have to use similarity for this
lakshay24032004: I have just mentioned Tan but if you notice the step that is like
lakshay24032004: 3/2 = x/28
lakshay24032004: This is similarity only
