a vertical pole stands on the level ground from a point on the ground 25 m away from the foot of the pole, the angle of elevation of it's top is found to be 60 degree find the hieght of the pole.

(take √3 =1.73)

•Let AB be the pole standing on a level ground and Let O be the position of the observer .Then ,OA=25 cm,

∠OAB=90⁰ and ∠AOB=60⁰

Let AB=h meters

From right △OAB ,we have

AB/OA=tan60⁰=√3

=h/25=√3

=h=(25×1.732)=43.3

Hence,the height of the pole is 43.3 m
