A vertically straight tree,15m high,is broken by the wind in such a way that its top just touches the ground and makes an angel of 60 degree with the ground.At what height from the ground did the tree break?

let x be that height

x=(15-x)sin60°
x=15√3/(2+√3)=15√3(2-√3)

Answer is (15-X)=5 meter whereas X= 10
