Assume that you entered in a helicopter from Bhopal . You take off , and keep in air for 1 hour . See the picture ,

Bhopal -----> Ahmedabad = 30 min.

Bhopal -----> Kolkata = 30 min.

So If you keep 1 hour in Air then earth will move and if you land from air to earth from the same route you had travelled , after 1 hour you will land at Kolkata . Is it possible ? If yes , Then Why ? If Not , Then Why ?

.As the earth rotates the  atmosphere of the earth also rotates

so when helicopter is in the air is will rotate with atmosphere

hence its position relative to ground would not change

so Answer is No.
