Step-by-step explanation:

firstly shopkeeper take change from next shop so their is no amt from his pocket

he returned 1650 to lady and kept 350 in his pocket

when next shopkeeper demands 2000 against duplicate note he paid 2000 from his pocket

so actual loss is 1650 cash + 350 item i.e. 2000 is right ans

Or

2000 - profit on 350 Rs item

Given:

Cost of grocery = Rs. 350

Money given by the lady = Rs. 2000

Money kept by himself = Rs. 350

Money given back to the lady = Rs. 1650

Money given back to next shopkeeper = Rs. 2000

To Find:

Actual loss of the shopkeeper.

Calculation:

- Actual Loss faced by the shopkeeper = Money given back to the next shopkeeper + Cost of groceries given to the lady - Money kept by himself

⇒ Actual Loss faced by the shopkeeper = Rs. (2000 + 350 - 350) = Rs. 2000

- So there is an actual loss of Rs 2000 that was faced by the shopkeeper.
