The colour of the film will be rainbow spectrum like colour (VIBGYOR).

- We all know that white light is made out of seven colours which are arranged in VIBGYOR sequence.

- Now,when the white light enters through the soap film, some of the light reflects through the upper surface of the soap film and some of the light gets dispersed into seven basic colours of the rainbow spectrum. (Just like the dispersion by prism)

- This dispersed white light appears as the rainbow spectrum on the soap film.

(Here the inference of the light also occurs)

black

Explanation:

In such a case the distance traveled by the light inside the film is irrelevant. The two reflected waves are almost out of phase and interfere destructively and thus appears black.....
