1 vessel can hold= 2 1/2 litres

1 litre has 1000 ml.

Then 2 1/2 litres will have= 1000 x 1000 x 500

                                           = 2500 ml

Amount of 1/2 litres of milk we can put= 2500/500

                                                                  =  5 packets

Therefore, 5 packets of milk we can put in it.
