because it is the value of 10 litre which is 1 MPA and is 4 lire connection and yes that is isothermal

We know that, under isothermal process,

                                   P_1 V_1 = P_2 V_2 -→ (1)

Given: the initial pressure, the initial and final volume. Have to find the final pressure.

                                   P_1 = 1 MPa

                                   V_1 = 10 litre

                                   P_2 = ?

                                   V_2 = 4 litre

From equation (1),

                                   P_2 = P_1 V_1 / V_2

                                   P_2 = 1 x 10/4 = 10/4 = 2.5 MPa

Hence the final air pressure in the vessel is 2.5MPa.
