A vessel contains 1.6g of dioxygen at STP (273.15 k, 1atm pressure). the gas is now transferred to another vessel at constant temperature where pressure becomes half of the original pressure.calculate volume of the new vessel and no. of molecules of dioxygen​

1)1.6 g of oxygen corresponds to:  

32 /1.6  =0.05 moles.

It occupies a volume of 22.4×0.05=1.12 L at STP.

When the pressure is reduced to half, the volume is doubled.

The new volume is 2×1.12=2.24 L.

2)Number of molecules of oxygen in the vessel : 3.011*10^22
