Given :-

Capacity of lemonade a vessel is filled with = 10 l 500 ml

To find :-

In how many glasses, each of 175 ml capacity can the lemonade be filled

Solution :-

Converting 10 l 500 ml into ml :-

1 l = 1000 ml

10 l 500 ml = (10×1000)+500 ml

10 l 500 ml = 10000+500 ml

10 l 500 ml = 10500 ml

Now, capacity of lemonade a vessel is filled with ÷ 175 ml, i.e., 10500 ÷ 175, which is equal to 60 ml.

Final answer :-

Hence, the lemonade can be filled in 60 glasses, each of 175 ml capacity.
