A vessel contains 24 litres of milk, 4 litres are withdrawn and replaced by water. The process is repeated a second time. Find the ratio of milk to water in the resulting mixture?​

volume of milk left =24*(1-4/24)^2

                                =24*(20/24)^2

                                =24*(5/6)^2

                                =24*(25/36)

ratio of milk to water = milk left /water            note:water=total milk-milk left

                                     =(50/3)/24-(50/3)

                                  =25/11                  

     answer =25:11
