A vessel contains 84 liters mixture of petrol and diesel in the ratio of 4:3 respectively. When X liters mixture is taken out from the vessel and completely replaced by (X - 4) liters of diesel, then the ratio of petrol and diesel becomes 1:1. Find X.

Amount of mixture after removal = 84 - 18 = 66

Amount of milk = 66 × 7/12 = 38.5

Amount of water = 66 - 38.5 = 27.5

After adding water,

Amount of water = 27.5 + 4 = 31.5

Final ratio = 38.5 : 31.5 = 11 : 9
