Amount of mixture after removal = 84 - 18 = 66
Amount of milk = 66 × 7/12 = 38.5
Amount of water = 66 - 38.5 = 27.5
After adding water,
Amount of water = 27.5 + 4 = 31.5

Final ratio = 38.5 : 31.5 = 11 : 9

The Final Mixture in the Vessel is 80 Liters

Explanation:

Given Values:

1. A vessel contains 84 liters of a mixture of milk and water.

2. The ratio of milk and water is 7:5

3. 18 liters of a mixture taken from the vessel.

4.  4 liters of water added

To find:

The Final Mixture in the vessel

Solution:

==> Find the Liters of milk and Water in a mixture

==> Mixture of Milk + Mixture of Water = 84

==> The ratio of milk and water is 7:5

==> Let, The ratio be, 7x and 5x

==> 7x+5x = 84

==> 12x = 84

==> x =7

==> Mixture of Milk = 7x

==> Mixture of Milk = 7(7)

==> Mixture of Milk = 49 liters

==> Mixture of Water = 5x

==> Mixture of Water = 5(7)

==> Mixture of Water = 35 liters

==> 8 liters of a mixture taken from the vessel and 4 liters of water added

==> (Mixture of Milk - 8 liters) + (Mixture of Milk + 4 liters) = Final Mixture

==> Final Mixture = (49liters - 8 liters) + (35liters+ 4 liters )

==> Final Mixture = 41 + 39

==> Final Mixture = 80 liters

The Final Mixture in the Vessel is 80 Liters
