Answer:

  • 1.47*10^4N/
  • 147N

Explanation:

pressure formula hpg

h is 1.5m

p is 10^3

g is 9.8

put the formula hpg

1.5 *1000*9.8=14700pa

convert then 1.47*10^4.

Now,f=p*a.

Given:

Height of the vessel= 1.5m

p = 1000

To Find:

Pressure and thrust at the base of the vessel

Solution:

P = hpg

  = 1.5 × 1000 × 9.8

  = 14700pa

Now, pressure = Force/acceleration

and Thurst = force = pressure× acceleration

                  = 14700 × 100 × 10^{-4}

                  = 147 N

Therefore, the pressure and the thurst at the base of the vessel = 147N
