A vessel half - full of water weighs 13 kg but 9 kg when one - third full.Find its weight when it is one fourth - full

Lets consider the question as below :

A vessel half full means 1/2 part of it will be full

So , 1/2 = 13......................................eq1

1/3 = 9

1/4 = ?

divide eq1 by 2 on both sides

1/4 = 13/2 = 6.5kg
