Total volume of ice cream = 5 L 500

ml = 5500 ml.

Volume of cup = 500 ml.

Therefore no of cups = 11.

Given :-

  • Volume of Cups = 50 ml

  • Volume of Ice-cream = 5L 500 ml

To Find :-

  • No. of cups to fill this Ice-cream

Answer :-

  • 110

Solution :-

Formula Used

\sf{\underline{\boxed{\green{No.\: of \: cups=\dfrac{Volume\:of\:Ice-Cream}{Volume\:of\:Cups}}}}}

  • Firstly we will convert the volume of ice cream in the vessel into ml for finding the number of cups

\implies5L 500 ml

\implies5000 + 500

\implies5500 ml

  • Now we have got the total volume of ice cream into ml so now we can find the number of cups by using the given formula

\longrightarrow\sf{n = \dfrac{Volume\:of\:Ice-Cream}{Volume\:of\:Cups}}

{}

\longrightarrow\sf{n = \dfrac{5500}{50}}

{}

\longrightarrow\sf{n = \dfrac{\cancel{5500}}{\cancel{50}}}

{}

\longrightarrow\sf{n = 110\:Cups}

So we can fill 110 cups of 50ml from 5500 ml of Ice-Cream
