Answer:

Given,

Diameter of the hemisphere= 16 cm.

Therefore, Radius of it = 16/2 cm = 8 cm

Again,

Height of the vessel = 15 cm

Therefore, height of the cylinder = 15-8 cm

= 7 cm

So,

Curved Surface Area of the vessel =

C.S.A of hemisphere+ C.S.A of cylinder

= 2πr² + 2πrh

= 2πr(r+h)

= 2 x 22/7 x 8 (8+7)

= 5280/7

= 754.28 cm²

Therefore, the capacity of the vessel is754.28 cm²
