* A vessel is in the form of a hollow hemisphere mounted by a hollow cylinder. The
diameter of the hemisphere is 14 cm and the total height of the vessel is 13 cm. Find the
inner surface area of the vessel.​

diameter of the hemisphere is 14cm

radius is 14/2= 7cm

curved surface area of hemisphere = 2πr^2

=2*22/7*7^2

=2*22*7

=308cm

height of cylinder= total height - radius

= 13-7=6

so curved surface area of the cylinder = 2πrh

= 2*22/7*7*6

= 2*22*6

=264cm

so the inner surface of the cylinder is curved surface area of hemisphere + curved surface area of cylinder

= 308+264= 572cm^2
