A vessel is in the form of hemispherical bowl surmounted by a hollow cylinder of same diameter. The diameter of the hemispherical bowl is 14 cm and the total height of the vessel is 13 cm. Find the total surface area of the vessel. (use  = 22/7)

Radius=7 cm

Total height of vessel=13 cm

Height of cylinder=13-7=6cm

Total surface area=CSA of cylinder+ CSA of hemisphere

=2πrh + 2πr^2

=2πr(h+R)

=2×22/7×7(6+7)

=2×22(13)

=44×13

=572
