a gas at 30°c and 750 mm Hg pressure. the
gas was transferred to vessel whose volume is
is 180mL. calculate the pressure of the gas
at 30°C​

T = constant ( because gas temperatures is 30°c in both)

Boyles law

P1 V1 = P2 V2

given P1 = 750mm V1 = 120 ml

P2 = ? V2 = 180 ml

750×120 = P2×180

P2 = 750×120÷180

P2 = 500mm
