Population 3 years ago

Increase percentage in population in the :-

First year = 5%

2nd year = 6%

third year = 8%

Present population = population in the third year

Percentage increase in third year = 25000×8%

= 25000 × 8/100

= 2000

Population in third year = 25000 + 2000

= 27000

Therefore present population is equal to 27000 .
