A village has a population of 4000 people. 60 litres of water is required per person per day .the village tanker of water is cuboidal in shape with dimensions 48m×27m×5m and is completely filled with water .how many days the water of this tank is sufficient?

first check the capicity of tank so
volume of cuboidal tank=l×b×h
=48×27×5
=6840m sq
now water required per day so
=no of population×water required per head
=4000×60
=240000
how many it will last =capicity of tank ÷ water required ler day
=6849÷240000
=0.0285 day
